Dr. Shalina J. Akins is on a mission. With the rampant rise of social anxiety, loneliness, and depression, there seems to be no viable end in site.  Until now! With over twenty years of experience in the counseling, coaching, training, mentoring, and education fields, Shalina J. Akins has leveraged all that she has seen and all that she has experienced as mental health counseling professional and has dedicated her life to making easier the lives of others! 

Through her work helping to promote healthy children, families, couples, individuals, and teams, Shalina discovered that humanity’s development of emotional acuity and leadership acumen are inextricably tied to our ability to source and sustain our own happiness and joy. She is committed to helping folks get there!

Shalina holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Masters in Education in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctorate in Educational and Organizational Leadership! Her end goal is to create simple, fun, interactive, and immersive ways to develop strong, resilient, others-centered, whole, competent, and compassionate kids, individuals, organizations, and leaders. When she’s not rooting for the wellness of others, Shalina loves to clean, dance, learn languages, and go for long destination-free walks.
